It's important to have realistic expectations as this process requires patience and dedication, and each person's experience will be unique. We are here to support you throughout this journey.

During the transition phase, you have two simple options: you can gradually grow out your relaxed hair by getting regular trims until all the relaxed ends are gone, or you can opt for the big chop to remove all the relaxed hair at once. If you choose to retain your length, it's essential to have weekly or bi-weekly appointments and use treatments to minimize breakage during the growing-out phase.

On average, it takes at least one year to fully grow out your relaxed hair, but the timing depends on the initial condition of your hair. Shedding may occur due to over-processed hair. We recommend trims every 6-8 weeks and using the right hair care products at home to support a successful transition.

The Small Locs

Because they are smaller, they might require more maintenance to keep them neat and healthy.

Braidlocks: This method involves braiding the hair and then allowing it to lock over time. The interlocking technique in braidlocks involves using a tool or specific hand motions to interlock the braided sections, which helps in forming and maintaining the locs. Braidlocks can provide a more textured look compared to other loc styles and can be a good option for those with naturally curly or kinky hair.

Both methods use the interlocking technique, where the hair is threaded through itself or a tool is used to pull the hair through the loc to secure it, creating a strong and durable loc.
